It’s been so cloudy and gloomy the last few days. Sure hope the sun comes out before too long or my tomatoes will never ripen. Donny and Helen stayed by Ken and Cathy’s last Friday night. They enjoyed that a lot. It’s hard to believe Kim and Carrie are in 1st grade this year. Sending Donny and Helen to GBCS is really an added financial drain, but I guess anything in this life worth getting, takes a big sacrifice. There’s nothing more important to us than raising our children in Christ. I pray the Lord will truly bless their lives as they grow in Him. Kim Younkle had her baby shower last Saturday (Aug. 24). She sure got a lot of nice things for the baby. I still believe she’ll have a boy but only God knows for sure. It won’t be long before we find out.
